Port Edwards extension

Page 3 is of the new extension to the FCN layout, that was added in August (2012).  It has been redesigned since than.  Here is the "Northern-most" modeled section of the FCN.  The WC/CN yard in Wisconsin Rapids.  The former 7-track stub yard has been revamped to a four-track one.  After the addition of a new "Staging Yard.  This Staging Yard, represents ALL Points, North (Marshfield) and South (Fall River/Columbus) on the layout.  Trains running "South" over the FCN, come onto the layout here.  All Trains running "North" use the "Continuous Running" track to make their appearance.   This revision has  allowed for better running, during Operating Sessions.

The WC/CN yard after its reduction down to four tracks.  I reused the 'Seventh" track by connecting it to the FCN trackage.  And it now will serve as a Storage track for the FCN yard, located here.

 This is the Staging Yard.  These six tracks are for all Trains, leaving the modeled portion of the FCN Railway.  A "Wye" connections it to the layout.
